In this little town the futur St Pierre Thomas is born in 1305. After a study in oriental languages, he becomes the legal representative of the Pope of Avignon and later of the Patriarch of Constantinople.
Many recoveries have occured after his death in this town, where you can see the traces of a chapel constructed on the ruines of the house where he was born.
The fortified roman church with its ledged bellfry, its dome and its hemicycled apse is worth a visit.
